Red Marks On Stomach From Sitting

know what's really in cans of tuna we buy?

To find out, Greenpeace sent a questionnaire to the companies responsible for most major brands of canned tuna on our market and on the basis of responses received have published the ranking "Bore" .

Coop , ASdoMar and Blue Sea are the first places in the standings: although they are not actually sustainable, at least have a written regulation.
Zero in the charts for two of the best selling brands in Italy - Consorcio Tuna MareAperto STAR - for their utter lack of transparency . Out of 14 brands evaluated, 11 end up in "red" because they have not yet adopted clear criteria to ensure that the tuna does not damage the environment.

to fish for tuna using destructive methods that are often responsible for the accidental capture of a wide variety of other species including turtles and sharks and immature tuna. The yellow fin, the most consumed in Italy, is under pressure and the maintenance some stock now raises serious concerns.

In Italy you consume more than 140 thousand tons of canned tuna per year, even before the tropical tuna stocks are completely compromised, we need to reduce fishing effort, removing dangerous tools and marine reserves to protect the areas important for these species.
